Earnings-related pension card

The earnings-related pension card entitles you to pensioner discounts when you have retired permanently. 

You can be issued an earnings-related pension card if you are on

• old-age pension
• disability pension
• years-of-service pension.

The earnings-related pension card is not issued if you are on partial early old-age pension, partial disability pension, partial rehabilitation allowance, cash rehabilitation benefit (i.e. fixed-term disability pension), or survivors’ pension.

Discounts with the earnings-related pension card

You are entitled to discounts from various services and products with an earnings-related pension card.

Discounts are provided by e.g. VR and Matkahuolto. Many sports facilities and cultural institutions also offer discounts.

The discounts and amounts always depend on the service provider, as there is no uniform practice. Do not hesitate to ask about possible pensioner discounts. 

The details on the earnings-related pension card are in Finnish, Swedish and English, which means that you can use the card when travelling abroad.

Make sure that your earnings-related pension card is always with you by downloading the Pension and Rehabilitation app on your phone or tablet.

The app has more than just your earnings-related pension card – you can easily check your payment details, read your latest documents, and receive up-to-date notifications from Keva.

The Earnings-Related Pension Card app will soon be shutting down

The Pension and Rehabilitation app will replace our old Earnings-Related Pension Card app. If you have previously downloaded the Earnings-Related Pension Card app you will have access to it until September 2025. 

Download the Pension and Rehabilitation app to immediately gain access to all the app’s new features.

Plastic earnings-related pension card

You will receive a plastic earnings-related pension card from Keva in a separate letter after the issue of the pension decision. The card will not be sent to you together with your pension decision. 

We will send you a plastic earnings-related pension card, even if you have downloaded the Pension and Rehabilitation app.

Lost cards

If you have retired permanently but have not received an earnings-related pension card, or if your card is lost, you can order a replacement in the online service My Pension or by calling our Customer Service.
